Description
CPD-EST is a single-window desktop GUI for estimating Curie-Point Depth (CPD) from aeromagnetic data using spectral analysis. It supports two spectral methods: Windowed Fourier Transform (WFT) and Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT).

Steps to reproduce
BASIC WORKFLOW (6 STEPS) --------------------------- Step 1 - Load data Menu File -> Open... (or press Ctrl+O) and pick your file. A preview appears in the "Data Preview" tab and the projection origin is set automatically to the centre of your survey. Step 2 - Grid the data In the "Gridding & Projection" panel set dx and dy (cell spacing in km, e.g. 0.5), keep the MinCurv method (recommended), then click "Grid Data". The result appears in the "Grid" tab. Step 3 - Set the fractal exponent In "Survey Info & Optimisation" set the beta value (default 3.0 works for most surveys). Click "Auto-Optimise Parameters" to auto-tune the WFT/CWT settings from your grid — this is the easiest path and runs both methods for you. Step 4 - Run the analysis If you did not auto-optimise, click "Run CWT", "Run WFT", or "Run Both" in the "Spectral Methods & Lsfit" panel. Processing runs in the background; progress appears in the Log at the bottom. Step 5 - Look at the results (tabs) - "Spectra": per-window spectra with fitted lines. Step through windows with the Window # control; drag the vertical markers to adjust the Zt / Z0 fit ranges, then click "Apply Ranges". - "Points": scatter of CPD values (Zb) at each window location. - "CPD": interpolated Curie-Point Depth map. - "Histogram": distribution of CPD values. Step 6 - Export results "Export CWT" / "Export WFT" save a CSV of results (Lat, Lon, Zt, Z0, Zb, uncertainties, fractal exponent B, R^2). "Export All Spectra" saves the spectrum plots as PNG images.
