Reflections on the Production of the Youth Observatory of CEPAL (2014-2024)
Description
The Youth Observatory for Latin America and the Caribbean of CEPAL constitutes a key source for understanding the multiple dimensions of social inclusion among youth. A thorough documentary analysis conducted on 22 documents published between 2014 and 2024 identifies four thematic axes crossing regional research: education and integral development, the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda with a youth focus, the profound impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on youth living conditions and opportunities, and advances and challenges in public policies aimed at this population (CEPAL, 2024).
