Description

This study aimed to examine the effect of these body-positive images on mood and body satisfaction in young women who experienced emotional abuse and/or bullying victimization. A sample of 197 women aged 18-35 years completed questionnaires of emotional abuse/bullying victimization, body appreciation and self-objectification. They also rated levels of mood and body satisfaction before and after viewing either body-positive, thin-ideal or neutral images.
