Over 70 years (1950-2022), this data collection spans from January through December and has included past weather history recorded at the Institute of Remote Sensing and GIS, Jahangirnagar University; as such, it includes all forms of historical meteorology (rainfall, temperature, etc.) that are both continuous (rainfall, temperature, etc.) and categorically defined (station, wind direction, etc.). Therefore, the total number of records included in the data collection equals 30,660, which are contained within 15 attributes. Data was collected using 36 meteorological stations across the country of Bangladesh; therefore, each meteorological station contributed 876 records of data to ensure a balance of spatial representation.
