Dataset for MS_NRE
Description
In the Nandu River estuary, located in the northern coast of Hainan Island, we carried out four field campaigns: one mapping survey (June 15, 2022), one underway pCO₂ measurement (December 29, 2022), and two time-series observations (May 4–5 and September 21–22, 2023). This dataset comprises three sheets. The “Cruise information” sheet contains hourly wind speed and tidal height data for all four observation periods, as well as monthly mean river discharge of the Nandu River from 2022 to 2023. The “Discrete samples” sheet provides carbonate chemistry data from discrete sampling, including temperature, salinity, dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity (TA), Ca²⁺, partial pressure of CO2 (pCO₂), saturation state of pCO2 (pCO₂%), dissolved oxygen saturation (DO%), apparent oxygen utilization (AOU), wind speed, and atmospheric pCO₂. The “Underway” sheet presents continuous underway measurements of temperature, salinity, pCO₂, and wind speed during both high and low tide conditions.
