This dataset includes the bioinformatics annotation workflow and parameters, representative sequences of all ASVs generated in this study, the taxonomic assignment and abundance table for all ASVs, detailed information for myxozoan ASVs assigned to known species, best reference hits and read support information for known myxozoan species detected in this study, the trimmed phylogenetic alignment of unidentified myxozoan ASVs and reference myxozoan SSU rDNA sequences, and the maximum-likelihood phylogenetic tree file generated using IQ-TREE.
