Dataset supporting the study “Hospitalisation Costs for Malaria and Associated Factors: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.” The repository includes a compiled Excel file containing data extracted from the seven studies included in the meta-analysis, as well as the R script used for statistical analysis. Variables include study characteristics, country, income level, sample size, mean hospitalization cost, standard deviation, study design, Plasmodium vivax involvement, age group, and hospital setting. The dataset allows replication of the meta-analysis and secondary analyses. All data originate from previously published studies and contain no individual-level identifiable information.
