Diogo SpinolaDescription
A continental-scale analysis of Spodosol properties, including SOC, Fe-Al selective extractions, particle size distribution, location, climate parameters, ecoregions level II EPA. Data for selective Fe and Al extractions, SOC, and clay content for CONUS were collected from the US National Cooperative Soil Survey (NCSS): http://ncsslabdatamart.sc.egov.usda.gov/. Further data for Coastal Alaska are available in Fedenko et al. (2024) (https://doi.org/10.1002/saj2.20695) and Spinola et al. (2022b) (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.geoderma.2022.116211). For Canada, data were collected from the National Pedon Database (https://sis.agr.gc.ca/cansis/nsdb/npdb/index.html) and other relevant references.
