Increasing Renewable Energy Investments in Sustainable Business with Bibliometric Analysis
Description
This study aims to examine the dynamics of renewable energy investment in sustainable business by utilizing a bibliometric approach. This research is important because of the growing global emphasis on climate change mitigation and the transition from conventional fossil fuels to cleaner energy sources, which places investment in renewable energy as a strategic priority for industry and policymakers. A total of 1,262 publications covering the period 1995 to 2025 were drawn from leading scientific databases to uncover key trends, influential journals, and popular keywords in the field. Through data processing and visualization, bibliometric analysis highlights an important surge in publications after 2010, which shows increased awareness of the need for sustainable energy solutions. The findings revealed that the discussion included not only technological aspects but also policy frameworks, financial mechanisms, and business strategies, signaling a holistic understanding of renewable energy implementation. Further results show that more and more academics and practitioners recognize the important role of innovation and collaboration across sectors. Overall, the study offers a comprehensive mapping of research developments in renewable energy investment in the context of sustainable business, guiding stakeholders to develop effective strategies and policies that facilitate economic growth and environmental conservation.
