Description

This dataset was collected from four permanent plots of secondary Picea crassifolia forest in Yongdeng County, eastern Qilian Mountains, Gansu, China. The dataset includes site location and topographic information, as well as tree-level measurements of coordinates, diameter at breast height (DBH), tree height, east-west crown width, and north-south crown width. The dataset provides precise relative coordinates for each tree within the plots, enabling spatial point pattern analysis and neighbor competition index analysis at the individual tree level. It also serves as foundational data for research in forest ecology, population spatial patterns, intraspecific competition, carbon stock estimation, and forest dynamics modeling.
