The empirical content comprises fifteen tables, each corresponding to the empirical analysis in the paper. The data on migrant workers is sourced from the China Migrant Dynamic Monitoring Survey (CMDS) organised by the National Health Commission of China.The data for control variables are sourced from the China City Statistical Yearbook and China Urban Construction Statistical Yearbook. The data on replacement variable is sourced from the official list of pilot zones released by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) between 2015 and 2016.
