Description

Wang et al. demonstrate that the cleavage of AMOT is essential for collective cell migration and tumor metastasis. The cleavage of AMOT results in spatial redistribution from apical junctions to focal adhesions, promoting leader cell formation, cell fluidization, and coherent cell migration.
