The dataset provides detailed information on each participant’s self-assessed competency levels in 5 domains, along with demographic variables such as gender and training specialization. The value of this dataset lies in its potential to inform teacher training programs and educational policy: it offers evidence on areas of strength and weakness in future teachers’ digital skills. Educational researchers and policymakers can use the data to identify gaps in pre-service teacher preparation and to design targeted interventions for improving digital competence.
