Description

This paper presents the results of centrifuge tests on a bridge model supported by vertical or batter group piles in a saturated site. The objective is to investigate the differences in the seismic response of bridges supported by vertical or batter group piles in liquefied soils and to reveal the pattern of pile‒soil interactions during earthquakes. On this basis, a simulation model was established, and its correctness was verified. Then, a series of calculations of the simulation were carried out to investigate the effects of different deposition conditions on the seismic performance of group pile-supported bridges.
