Description

This dataset contains materials related to the Amazonian Dance Protocol (ADp), a structured dance-based intervention designed for people with Parkinson’s disease (PwP). The ADp integrates Amazonian cultural elements with evidence-based principles of dance and movement therapy to promote motor, cognitive, emotional, and social benefits. The dataset includes: The full description of the ADp structure and session content; Guidelines for instructors and implementation procedures; Supporting materials used in the intervention. These resources aim to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and applicability of the ADp in both research and community-based rehabilitation contexts. The dataset can be used by researchers, health professionals, and dance practitioners interested in non-pharmacological interventions for Parkinson’s disease.
