Description

Raw behavioral (Y-maze, novel object recognition, Barnes maze, elevated plus maze, forced swim test) and electrophysiological (local field potential power, coherence, cross-correlation) data, together with MATLAB analysis scripts, supporting the findings reported in the associated manuscript on psilocybin treatment in the ICV-STZ rat model of Alzheimer's disease.

Files

Steps to reproduce

1. Extract raw electrophysiological recordings using Electrophysiology_Data/extract_all_lfp.m (update the baseFolder path to point to your local copy of the raw .bin files). 2. Compute spectral power, coherence, and cross-correlation statistics using the scripts in Electrophysiology_Data/PSD, Coherence, and CrossCorrelation. 3. Behavioral data (Y-maze, NOR, Barnes maze, EPM, FST) can be analyzed directly from the files in Behavioral_Data/ using standard statistical software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, MATLAB). 4. The Barnes maze figure and its associated statistics can be reproduced directly by running Analysis_Scripts/BMT_Figure_and_Stats.m, which contains the raw data, statistical tests, and figure-generation code in one self-contained script. 5. See README.txt for a full description of each file and folder.
