Description

This dataset was built to test whether citing patents (SUB - subsequent patents) to an invalidated patent (OP - for original patent) were renewed at a lower rate. It complements the publicly available data created by Janicke, P. M., & Ren, Lilan. (2006). Who wins patent infringement cases. AIPLA Quarterly Journal, 34(1), 1-44.
