Description

This dataset provides supplementary information for the Brief Report titled 'Two distinct patterns of acne progression: Pathogenesis and implications for management.' It includes data from a comprehensive questionnaire survey involving 350 participants, with a focus on the characteristic differences between two distinct patterns of acne progression: the breakthrough group (acute exacerbations or new onset) and the periodic group (long-term cyclical activity). The dataset contains detailed information on the triggers and oxidative stress markers associated with each group. Additionally, it includes supplementary figures, tables, and data files that support the analysis and conclusions presented in the manuscript. This information is valuable for understanding the pathogenesis of acne and its management implications
