GC-MS Analysis of Algerian Myrtus nivellei Essential Oil: Antioxidant and Antibacterial Preservation Properties

Description

The constituents of Myrtus nivellei essential oil were identified by comparing linear retention indices to a series of n-alkanes (C8–C29) under identical chromatographic conditions. This identification was further validated by comparing the obtained retention indices with those reported in the literature and stored in the MS and WILLY libraries. Additionally, the antioxidant and antibacterial preservation properties of the oil were investigated.
