Description

The csv file, 'for_synthetic_control.csv' contains data on the monthly number of asylum seekers in European countries. Using the csv file, the jupyter notebook file, 'mig_main_to_be_uploaded.ipynb' performs causal inference analysis where the treated unit and the control units are Germany and other European countries, respectively. The outcome variable is the monthy number of asylum seekers from Syria in each country. The sample period is from January 2015 to March 2016.

Steps to reproduce

Place the two files in a same directory. Run the Jupyter notebook, 'mig_main_to_be_uploaded.ipynb' on Jupyter Lab Desktop.
