Rural Urban Sun Protection Baseball Study - Supplemental Material

Supplemental Survey This study evaluated sun protection behaviors and knowledge among parents of youth baseball athletes, particularly focusing on differences related to current rurality of residence. This study was conducted in Ohio in Summer 2023. Adults residing in Ohio without a history of skin cancer were included. Questions assessed sun protection behaviors and sun safety knowledge, included on the attached Supplemental Survey. Supplemental Figure This figure compares Likert-scale responses on sun protection behaviors between rural and urban respondents.
