Description

Household survey on Socioeconomic Issues in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The survey was conducted in December 2013 and January 2014. A sample size of 330 households were determined for the study; however, 326 households were successfully interviewed. Using population proportion of the local government areas (LGAs) in Ogoniland, the sample size was drawn from the four LGAs with 23% from Eleme, 28% from Gokana, 35% from Khana, and 14% from Tai. The survey was limited to inhabitants who are indigenes of Ogoni community.
