Papaya is a valuable but disease-prone crop, with leaf diseases significantly impacting fruit quality and yield, posing financial challenges to producers. A comprehensive dataset of high-resolution images, capturing various leaf diseases in different stages and conditions, has been assembled to facilitate the development of a model for real-time disease detection. The dataset includes 1,400 raw images and 6,618 augmented images, categorizing leaves as healthy or affected by one of five diseases: Leaf Curl, Papaya Mosaic, Ring Spot, Mites, or Mealybug. This initiative aims to enable early disease identification, allowing producers to implement preventative measures and minimize economic losses.
