Raw Online Review Dataset of Customer Experiences in Women-Led Batik Workshops in Malaysia

This dataset supports the study entitled “Exploring Customer Experiences in Women-Led Batik Workshops: A Topic Modeling Analysis of Online Reviews in Malaysia.” It contains raw data collected from publicly available online customer reviews of selected women-led batik workshops in Malaysia. The dataset was compiled to examine customer experiences through text-mining and topic-modeling analysis. Depending on the availability of information on the original platforms, the dataset includes review text, rating, review date, and other non-identifying attributes relevant to the analysis. Usernames, profile links, photographs, and other personally identifiable information have been removed or excluded to protect reviewer privacy. The dataset has not undergone text preprocessing, such as tokenization, stop-word removal, stemming, or lemmatization. It therefore represents the raw input used before the data-cleaning and analytical stages of the study. The data may support further research on customer experience, cultural entrepreneurship, creative tourism, batik workshops, and women-led cultural enterprises. Users are requested to cite both this dataset and the associated research article and to use the data responsibly in accordance with the applicable license and the terms of the original data sources.
