Data was collected from publicly accessible repositories, such as the World Development Indicator (WDI) and SESRIC. The model adopts environmental degradation, proxied by CO₂ emissions, as the response parameter, while renewable energy, urbanization, gross domestic product, foreign direct investment, and gross capital formation are employed as explanatory variables. Moreover, Table 1 showcases a summary of dataset descriptions and sources, where Figure 1 reports the trend analysis of the sampled variables.
