This study aims to assess the association between abusive supervision and employees’ psychological capital under different levels of fear of COVID-19 among service-based SMEs in Kenya. Fear of COVID-19 moderates the negative relationship between abusive supervision and employee psychological capital such that the association is stronger when fear of COVID-19 is high versus low. Age, gender and extroversion are used as moderators.
