This academic study offers a thorough exploration of prevailing discretisation methods, complemented by a detailed appraisal of their essential attributes, with the objective of proposing a system for classifying discretisation strategies. Digitally controlled discretised design processes can create innovative architectural opportunities, particularly optimising systems for faster, affordable constructions with intricate geometries. The progression in architecture opens avenues for the integration of digital design and robotic assembly techniques. The concept of modular discretisation is characterised by dynamic, adaptable, geometrically predictable, reusable, and connectable architectural components.
