Raw_data_from_photomechanical_pump-probe_experiment
Description
Pump/probe experiment for a PDMS sample with a surface relief grating. The independent variable is time and the dependent variable is a normalized probe intensity from a linear ccd array. The pump causes the diffracted beam to shift across the linear ccd array and light up different pixels. Timing for each intensity set is included.

Steps to reproduce
Transmit a probe beam through a dye-doped PDMS sample with an embossed diffraction grating. Open a shutter for a stable pump beam incident on the same spot as the probe beam. The pump beam should be absorbed by the dye (Oil Red O for this data set) in the PDMS sample. A linear CCD array oriented perpendicular to the grating grooves of the sample and lying in a plane parallel to the sample should be placed ~10.5cm from the PDMS sample as measured along the first-order diffraction beam's propagation direction. The linear CCD was controlled by python script and post processing of the data included normalization. The file names are in reference to a small reference of the probe beam. The calibration factor to multiply the reference power file names and get the actual pump power incident on the sample is ~15.23. Please contact Prof. Nathan J. Dawson if you have a need for more information about this data set or if you would like some script to help analyze the results included in this dataset.
