NNSA Laboratory Publications
Description
The three complementary national security national laboratories of the United States National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), which is an agency of the Department of Energy, are Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). LANL ensures the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear deterrent and tackles emerging national security and global threats. SNL maintains the U.S. nuclear stockpile, while LLNL develops and applies science and technology to ensure the safety, security, and reliability of the nation’s nuclear deterrent.
