Description

Data includes results from experimental determination of hydroxylbastnäsite-(La) solubility and La carbonate aqueous speciation. Plots of concentrations of La measured using inductively coupled mass-spectrometry, the activity of bicarbonate and pH(T) in experimental solutions modeled using thermodynamic open-source modeling software, HCh, are shown. Comparison of stability field between La-carbonate from this study and Nd-carbonate species from previous works is drawn as a function of temperature. Tabulated values for dominant La-carbonate association constants is given. LA-UR-25-20862
