Horizontal Wavelength Spectra of Wave Activity in Mars's Atmosphere from the Mars Global Surveyor Thermal Emission Spectrometer, L_s=120-150, MY 24 and MY 25
Description
This dataset contains analyses of variability in brightness temperature from broad levels of Mars's atmosphere and its dependence on baseline based on observations by the Thermal Emission Spectrometer (TES) on board Mars Global Surveyor (MGS). The analysis code and supporting files are also included. Simulations of the visibility of wave perturbations to the observation are also included. The intermediate data products are ~600 GB and so have not been included. This data package is intended to support a manuscript to be submitted to the Planetary Science Journal entitled, "The horizontal wavelength spectrum of gravity wave activity in Mars's lower atmosphere: the perspective from MGS-TES nadir observations." See TES_HWLSPEC_A13_GW_Analysis_Dataset_Documentation.pdf for complete documentation.
