SDGs Localization in Local Government Plans in Ghana
Description
This dataset contains the number of SDGs Targets integrated into local government plans (District Medium Term Development Plans-DMTDP) of 138 districts across 14 regions in Ghana. The Data was extracted from the 2018-2022 DMTDPs of the districts and organized according to the 169 17SDGs and their 169 targets. The data shows that 78% of the 169 SDGs targets have been localized in the districts. This dataset provides micro level data for tracking progress on SDGs localization and their associated development outcomes at the local and sub-national levels. District names and their regions have been provided, making it easy to visualize the data in maps as well as to conduct several statistical analysis by region. The Python Codes for extracting and analyzing the data are also attached.
