Numerical simulation data of melt-crystal interface position and deflection of BaBrCl in a 5-heater vertical Bridgman furnace
Description
This dataset presents the melt-crystal interface position and deflection of BaBrCl crystal with different target set-point temperature in a 5-heater vertical Bridgman furnace simulated by CrysMAS code. Numerical calculations were carried using finite volume method. A 2-dimensional, axis-symmetrical steady-state model was developed to calculate the temperature field by considering heat conduction and radiation in the furnace. Target set-point temperature of the heaters (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5), vertical interface position at centerline (r = 0m) and edge (r = 0.0065m) (Lc, Le), average interface position and deflection (P, D) were presented in the dataset. The data provided could be utilized to analyze the association between interface position and deflection for crystal growth control and optimization purposes.
