Description

The empirical analysis uses firm-level accounting information obtained from SABI, a proprietary commercial database subject to licensing restrictions. For that reason, the raw source data cannot be made publicly available or redistributed by the authors. To support transparency and reproducibility, the public repository includes the data-processing and estimation code, a variable codebook, manuscript-ready derived tables, and a synthetic dataset that reproduces the structure of the analytical file without containing any original SABI observation. Researchers with lawful access to SABI may use the shared code to reconstruct the analytical workflow from the proprietary source under their own license conditions.
