Description

In India, state legislation has a substantial effect on the mental health of women, affecting their access to reproductive rights, healthcare, and employment. Although legislation offers vital protections, its practical implementation is impeded by obstacles such as stigma and insufficient infrastructure. Collaboration among stakeholders and comprehensive strategies are required to advance equity, inclusion, and women's agency. A safer and more compassionate society can be produced by incorporating mindfulness practices and addiction awareness into the curriculum. Through the implementation of preventive measures, advocacy for mental health, and societal assistance, India has the potential to empower women, diminish inequalities, and cultivate resilience.
