Postoperative sleep disturbance (PSD) is a prevalent complication following gynecological laparoscopic surgery. This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of a novel perioperative multimodal sleep (PMS) strategy, whether adding esketamine-adjuvanted stellate ganglion block (SGB) to intraoperative esketamine-dexmedetomidine infusions reduces PSD.In this randomized trial,Esketamine-adjuvanted SGB effectively reduces PSD (especially in preoperatively depressed patients) and early postoperative anxiety after gynecological laparoscopy, with good safety; further research is warranted.
