Description

Replication Files for “Crowdsourcing Peer Information to Change Spending Behavior” CODES: - 01_Figures_Final.do: produces Figures 1, Figure 4_A, and Figures 5 through 9. - 02_Tables_Final.do: produces Tables 1 through 8 - 03_Threshold_regression_test.R: determines the threshold value for Figure 4_A - 04_Kink_regression_test.R: generates Figure 4_B - thr_est.R and thr_het.R are support codes for 03_Threshold_regression_test.R Figures 2 and 3 do not require computations as they are snapshots from the App. DATA SETS: The folder 02_data contains pseudo data with the same structure as the original data needed to run the “.do” and “.R” files for all tables and figures, but contains only the first 20 rows with random noise added to each continuous variable. The original data set is not available since it uses proprietary information from Status Money.
