Replication Data for: From Explainable AI to Financial Well-Being: Trust and Adoption Mechanisms in Digital Financial Services
Description
This repository contains the comprehensive empirical research dataset, measurement models, and structural validation workflows supporting the investigation of human-AI interactions in digital financial services (DFS) within emerging economies, specifically focused on Vietnam. Grounded in Trust Theory, Empowerment Theory, and Service-Dominant Logic (SDL), the study evaluates how Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) features drive consumer trust and behavioral adoption, ultimately shaping long-term personal financial well-being. The data assets hosted in this repository include:Anonymized Survey Dataset (.csv/.xlsx): Raw survey responses from a randomized sample of active retail digital banking, fintech wallet, and robo-advisory platform consumers (N = 700) across major metropolitan areas in Vietnam. All personally identifiable information (PII) has been strictly removed to enforce complete participant anonymity. SmartPLS 4 Project Directory (.splsp): The raw experimental project data containing the computational workflows, algorithm configurations, and structural outputs derived from the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) procedure. Qualitative Verification and Expert Audits (.pdf): Anonymized content logs and thematic linguistic matrices from the panel review (N = 4) executed for scale contextualization and cross-translation evaluation.
