Description

foreign direct investment (FDI) and technology innovation mitigates carbon emissions in the long run. Combining tourism growth and FDI in the BRI sample engenders increased emissions. Regionally, the link’s strength and direction diverge significantly. FDI in Southern Asia and MENA increases emissions. Moreover, the results validate the Environmental Kuznets Curve hypothesis.
