Recording Weapons

Description

This dataset contains acoustic pressure recordings of muzzle blast waves generated by firearms, acquired during outdoor measurement campaigns. The measurements were specifically designed to investigate the spatio-temporal evolution of nonlinear acoustic phenomena during long-range outdoor propagation. Impulse waveforms were recorded at multiple microphone positions located at increasing distances and heights relative to the firearm muzzle. Each measurement series includes repeated shots as well some meteorological information regarding temperature, pressure, humidity...
