Data and code for Inverse-Designed SiN-on-Ag Plasmonic Waveguide Combiner for Balanced Three-Input Coherent Pair Combining
Description
This dataset accompanies the manuscript "Inverse-Designed SiN-on-Ag Plasmonic Waveguide Combiner for Balanced Three-Input Coherent Pair Combining" by Sina Fasih and Abdulhakem Y. Elezzabi. It contains the final binary device geometry, numerical data in CSV and NPZ formats, raw and processed complex electromagnetic-field arrays, transmission and optimization-history data, editable figure-source files, and Python scripts that reproduce the manuscript figures from the deposited data. A README, data dictionary, software-environment information, citation metadata, and file checksums are included. The archive is intended for independent verification and figure reproduction. It does not include the original Tidy3D simulation or optimization source code. The deposited plotting scripts operate offline using the included data.

Steps to reproduce
1. Download and extract SiN_Ag_3to1_Combiner_Figure_Reproduction_Package.zip. 2. Open a terminal in the extracted package folder. 3. Create and activate a Python environment, then run: pip install -r requirements.txt 4. Reproduce the numerical summary plots by running: python code/replot_summary_figures.py 5. Recreate the final-device field figures by running: python code/original/field_plots/final_geometry_plots_paper_ready.py --root data/fields/final_device --normalization global --dpi 700 6. Recreate the optimized-versus-S-bend field comparison by running: python code/portable/comparison_paper_ready.py 7. Compare the generated files in reproduced_figures/ and the script output folders with the supplied components in figures/paper_components/. See README.md and DATA_DICTIONARY.md for the complete figure-to-data map, normalization definitions, array keys, and provenance notes. The scripts use the deposited CSV and NPZ data locally and do not require Tidy3D or access to cloud simulations.
