Compiled Dataset of Five Indonesian Palm Oil Companies (2019–2024)
Description
This dataset contains annual panel data from five publicly listed palm oil companies in Indonesia (PT SMART Tbk, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk, PT Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk, and PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk) over a six year period from 2019 to 2024. The dataset includes four main variables: X1 (Independent Variable 1): Artificial Intelligence (AI), measured using a text based index (score 1 to 5) derived from annual reports via AI related keyword frequency analysis. X2 (Independent Variable 2): Land Productivity, measured based only on mature area (producing land, excluding immature and unplanted area). Y (Mediating Variable): Export Performance (EP), measured as total net export sales in million Rupiah. Z (Dependent Variable): Firm Performance (FP), measured as Return on Assets (ROA), calculated as net income divided by total assets. All data were manually collected from the respective annual reports of each sample firm, obtained through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), ensuring reliability and cross firm comparability.
