Description

Supporting data for "Crosstalk between thyroid hormones and the central corticotropin-releasing factor system in Atlantic salmon". Tab 1: Effects of chronically elevated T3 (7 or 28 days) on circulating T3 and cortisol levels, as well as transcript abundance of neuroendocrine-related genes in the hypothalamus, preoptic area of the brain, and pituitary of Atlantic salmon. Tab 2: Effects of CRF receptor activation on transcript abundance of genes associated with thyrotropes (TSHba) and corticotropes (POMCa1 and PC1) as determined via in vitro pituitary cultures. Tab 3: Identification of putative thyroid hormone response elements in the promoter region of genes in the corticotropin-releasing factor system and genes associated with thyroid hormone regulation.
