Description

This data set is from the experiments conducted in "Sequence and timing of temperature and salinity stressors shape survival in the intertidal copepod Tigriopus californicus". The dataset includes the metadata for the experiments in which the statistics were completed. Permission is required for the reuse of the data. All ethical considerations were followed according to the University of Victoria policies.

Steps to reproduce

Four experiments were conducted, each with 12 treatments. In experiments 1 and 2, the stress treatments were fresh-fresh, fresh-heat, heat-fresh, and heat-heat with three latency (rest) periods (0, 12, and 24 hours) between the stressors. In experiments 3 and 4, the stress treatments were fresh-fresh, fresh-cold, cold-fresh, and cold-cold with three latency (rest) periods (0, 12, and 24 hours) between the stressors. Each stress was applied to adult (experiments 1, 2, and 4) or copepodite (experiment 3) Tigriopus californicus individuals for 12 hours.
