Description

We compared 200+ regular CrossFit exercisers to 200+ other regular exercisers on the risk of exercise addiction, obsessive and harmonious passion. The former group scored higher on all these measures. We also compared motivation subdomains using the SMS-II, but no group differences emerged. Exercise intensity and frequency were statistically significant covariates the risk of exercise addiction, obsessive passion and harmonious passion.
