This dataset contains metagenomic sequencing, serum metabolomic profiles, physiological measurements, histology images, and western blot/immunofluorescence data from high-fat diet-fed mice treated with Coptis chinensis or Hungatella hathewayi, supporting the finding that CC attenuates obesity and prioritizes HH as a candidate microbial mediator.
