Steps to reproduce

We collected leaves of Paeonia rockii 'Jinghong' during successive development and leaves at petiole-opening with leaf-curled stage of 52 tree peony cultivars. After bioactive component extraction, we conducted high-performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-quadrupole trap-mass spectrometry (HPLC-ESI-QTrap-MS) analysis, which produced "Total Ion Chromatogram (TIC).xlsx" and "metabolites_of_varieties.csv". By the R code, we carried out principle component analysis (PCA), orthogonal partial least squares-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) and hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA).
