Kinematics data (angle of rotations, rotational speed) of asymmetrical reciprocating rotation of WaveOne Gold Mode of X-Smart Plus Device by Image analysis: Torque (Ncm) and Force (N) data were collected by a Custom data acquisition device (CDA Unit) made by the authors. In version 2, the Force-Torque data obtained by four different canal simulations as below: • J-type root canal with a round cross-section (simulated a single curved canal lumen): The angle and radii of the curvature are 45°- and 5-mm, respectively. The canal path is 16 mm. Purchased from VDW GmbH, Munich, Germany. (Product code: V040245). • J-type root canal with ellipse cross-section (simulated a single curved canal lumen): The angle and radii of the curvature are 30°- and 6-mm, respectively. The canal path is 16 mm. Purchased from Nissin-Dental, Kyoto, Japan. (Product code: END1002). • S-type narrow canal (simulated a double curved canal lumen): The canal simulation has an initial 30° curvature (5 mm radius), 20° secondary curvature (3.5 mm radius), and a 16 mm canal length. The canal lumen size corresponds to ISO size 008 K-file. Purchased from E-block, Acadental, USA. (Product code: EB_S20DC). • S-type wide canal (simulated a double curved canal lumen): The canal simulation has an initial 30° curvature (5 mm radius), 20° secondary curvature (3.5 mm radius), and a 16 mm canal length. The canal lumen size corresponds to ISO size 015 K-file. Purchased from Nissin-Dental, Kyoto, Japan. (Product code: E-END1R002-11-RCL).
