Description

This dataset is related to two field-trials conducted in two different locations in Southern Italy and over three growing seasons (from 2007-2008 to 2009-2010). The main aim of the trials was to demonstrate that reducing the herbicide doses commonly used to managed weeds in oilseed rape cropping system the yield and also the profitability of the cropping system did not change. Our results confirmed our first hypothesis, because we observed that by cutting the herbicide recommended doses of 50% the yield did not change and in some cases it increased, as well as the profitability of the cropping system.
