Data for: Py-Microgrid: An Open-Source Framework for Hybrid Microgrid Optimisation
Description
Inputs and outputs of the study "Py-Microgrid: An Open-Source Framework for Hybrid Microgrid Optimisation" (Energy Conversion and Management: X). The archive holds the hourly solar and wind resource data at 135 copper deposit sites in Australia, the SABC load profile, the configuration files, a script that reproduces the optimisation of any site, and the optimised designs, sensitivity, repeated-run and reliability results behind the tables and figures of the paper. Refer to the README for a description of every file. The code is Py-Microgrid v1.0.1, archived at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22678941.

Steps to reproduce
Install Py-Microgrid v1.0.1 (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22678941), unzip the archive, open a terminal in the configuration folder and run: python run_one_site.py <deposit ID>. The script uses the settings of the paper (Predictive Dispatch, demand-side flexibility, Nelder-Mead from three starts, the bounds of Section 2.5) and prints the optimised design and its performance for that site. The deposit IDs and coordinates are in configuration/copper_deposits_135_sites.csv.
